Softball Recap: Sage Creek Bobcats vs. Point Loma Pointers        
        
		
            
 With a playoff game on the line, Sage Creek rose to the challenge  on Friday. They had just enough and edged the Point Loma Pointers out  2-1. The  win was nothing new for Sage Creek as they're now sitting on three straight.
  Kassidy King spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in four consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate, Sage Creek's victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was  Naomi Shetula, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 On Point Loma's side, they also let their pitcher toss all seven innings and she was also dialed-in:  Kate Yamashiro gave up only one earned  (and one unearned) run on four hits.
 Sage Creek pushed their record up to 20-9 with that  win, which was their ninth straight  on the road. As for Point Loma, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-14.
 As of now, neither Sage Creek nor Point Loma have any future games scheduled.
