Columbia is a perfect 8-0 against Gibault Catholic since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Eagles are taking a road trip to face off against the Hawks at 6:30 p.m. Columbia's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Last Thursday, neither Columbia nor Granite City could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

The Eagles' goal came courtesy of Riley Mathews, who's now up to 19 this season.

Meanwhile, Gibault Catholic lost 6-2 to Waterloo on Monday. Gibault Catholic haven't had much luck with Waterloo recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Gibault Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 11-4-1. Columbia's draw makes their record 9-2-2 this season.

Columbia took their win against Gibault Catholic in their previous meeting back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 5-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
