Volleyball Recap: Charlotte Spinner Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat North Tampa Christian Academy

There's no place like home for Cypress Creek, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the North Tampa Christian Academy Titans on Thursday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-10, 25-17.

Cypress Creek's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Charlotte Spinner, who had 12 digs and two assists. Grace Walker also deserves some recognition as she had her first kills of the season.

Cypress Creek was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Cypress Creek pushed their record up to 5-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for North Tampa Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 6-12.

Looking ahead, Cypress Creek will challenge Nature Coast Tech at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. North Tampa Christian Academy will be paying especially close attention to the Coyotes' matchup: after the Coyotes face off against Springstead, they'll take on North Tampa Christian Academy again at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
