Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Crivitz

Crivitz waltzed into their game on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Gillett Tigers by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 two weeks ago.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-15, 23-25, 25-20.

Marli Meyers paced Crivitz's offense, picking up eight kills. Meyers got some help from Addison Rehberg and her 11 assists. Meyers was also solid from the service line: she led the team with ten aces.

Crivitz's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Gillett, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Crivitz is set to challenge their familiar foe Lena at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Gillett will take on rival Niagara at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
