Bradenton Christian hadn't done well against Venice recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Panthers won by a set and slipped past the Indians 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Panthers sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (103-101) Bradenton Christian actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-23, 25-18, 18-25, 15-12.

Bradenton Christian's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Venice, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bradenton Christian will face off against Riverview Sarasota at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Venice, they will square off against Tampa Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
