It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Bishop Watterson had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They never let the London Red Raiders get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their 13th in a row.

Ben Burleson made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out seven over seven innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Michael Mulligan, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Ben Uhlenhake was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one double.

Bishop Watterson's record is now 26-3. As for London, they moved to 19-11 with that loss, which also ended their eight-game winning streak.
