Hoopeston won the last time they faced Armstrong, and Claire Dixon did her part to make sure it happened again. The Hoopeston Cornjerkers came out on top against the Armstrong Trojans by a score of 48-41 on Monday thanks in part to Dixon, who posted 21 points and three steals. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played.

Hoopeston has been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 16 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season. As for Armstrong, their loss dropped their record down to 10-17.
