Basketball Recap: Trinity Comes Up Short

Trinity lost to Southwestern Randolph two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bulldogs were beaten by the Cougars 53-18. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Trinity's record is now 2-10. As for Southwestern Randolph, their win ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-6.

Looking ahead, Trinity is taking a road trip to square off against East Davidson at 7:30 p.m. on January 6, 2026. The Bulldogs will be up against the Golden Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 71.14 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Southwestern Randolph, they will host Chatham Charter at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2026.
