Basketball Game Preview: Towson Generals vs. Owings Mills Golden Eagles

The Towson Generals will head out on the road to take on the Owings Mills Golden Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Wednesday, Towson ended up a good deal behind Kenwood and lost 55-40. The Generals haven't had much luck with the Bluebirds recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, Owings Mills lost to Franklin at home by a 51-37 margin on Wednesday.

Owings Mills has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Towson, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.

Everything went Towson's way against Owings Mills in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, as Towson made off with a 62-36 win. In that game, Towson amassed a halftime lead of 39-17, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
