Softball Recap: Newark Takes a Loss

Newark's last matchup with Seneca could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Saturday. The Norsemen lost 10-0 to the Fighting Irish. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Norsemen of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Newark now has a losing record of 8-9-2. As for Seneca, the win keeps they at an undefeated 14-0.

Looking ahead, Newark will be playing at home against Morris at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Seneca, they will head out to face off against Woodland at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
