Basketball Game Preview: Port Angeles Roughriders vs. Bremerton Knights

The Port Angeles Roughriders will head out to face off against the Bremerton Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Friday, Port Angeles came up short against Sequim and fell 58-49. While losing is never fun, the Roughriders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 181st, while the Wolves are ranked 43rd).

Meanwhile, Bremerton was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Olympic 83-39. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 27 points or more this season.

Bremerton pushed their record up to 13-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 79.6 points per game. As for Port Angeles, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-11.

Things could have been worse for Port Angeles, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 66-52 loss to Bremerton when the teams last played back in January. Can Port Angeles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
