Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lindsay). They strolled past the Wonderful College Prep Academy Wolves with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 54-36. This was payback for the Cardinals, who suffered a 50-34 loss the last time these two teams met.

Several Wolves players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jose Morales, who posted 14 points and three steals. Morales is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last four games he's played. Demetrio Alvarado was another key player, putting up six points and four steals.

Lindsay's victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-13. As for Wonderful College Prep Academy, they now have a losing record at 5-6.

The future could be bright for both Lindsay and Wonderful College Prep Academy: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Lindsay will try to hand Farmersville their third-straight defeat when the two meet at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Similarly, Wonderful College Prep Academy will try to hand Strathmore their third-straight loss when the two meet at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
