Basketball Recap: Woodland Hills Comes Up Short

Woodland Hills lost against Fox Chapel back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Woodland Hills Wolverines fell to the Fox Chapel Foxes 52-46. The Wolverines were up 19-4 in the first quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

It was another big night for Caden Kaiser, who went 13 of 18 on his way to 32 points along with six rebounds and three steals for Fox Chapel. That makes it three consecutive games in which Kaiser has scored at least a third of Fox Chapel's points. Another player making a difference was John Rehak, who posted nine points.

Woodland Hills has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. As for Fox Chapel, they pushed their record up to 13-4 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Woodland Hills has already played their next match (against Butler), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Fox Chapel has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against North Allegheny.
