Basketball Recap: Terra Verde Discovery Comes Up Short on the Road Against Sunrise Christian Academy (EYBL)

Terra Verde Discovery had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 56-43 to the Sunrise Christian Academy (EYBL) Buffaloes on Saturday.

Terra Verde Discovery's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Heustin Stroops, who posted nine points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of James Gituma, who scored 11 points.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Terra Verde Discovery will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Hoops for Christ at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Sunrise Christian Academy (EYBL), they will welcome Legacy School of Sport Sciences at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
