Basketball Recap: San Jose Comes Up Short

San Jose was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They fell 60-49 to the Overfelt Royals. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Royals apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

San Jose's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Overfelt, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. San Jose will square off against Gunderson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Overfelt, they will face off against Del Mar at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Del Mar is on a five-game streak of home losses, Overfelt a 15-game streak of away losses dating back to last season, but someone's luck will change.
