Soccer Recap: Winston Salem Christian Takes a Loss

On Thursday, the Winston Salem Christian Lions didn't have quite enough to beat the Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans and fell 3-2. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Camila Bueno and Elena Baltodano scored both of Winston Salem Christian's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Winston Salem Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Winston Salem Christian is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season: they will challenge Atkins at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wesleyan Christian Academy, they will welcome Covenant Day at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
