            Cumberland Gap had to endure  a  six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They never let the Cosby Eagles get on the board and left with  a   4-0  win  on Monday. The score was close at halftime, but Cumberland Gap pulled away in the second half with three  goals.
They hit Cosby with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from  Jacob Webb (2),  Gavin Bridges,  and  Will Compton.
Cumberland Gap's  victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-11. As for Cosby, their defeat was  their fourth straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 0-13.
 Coincidentally, Cumberland Gap and Cosby will both be playing Claiborne the next time they take the pitch. The Eagles will  host the Bulldogs at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday, while the Panthers will head out to face them  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday.
