Volleyball Recap: Kiowa County Finds Home Court Redemption Against Macksville

There's no place like home for Kiowa County, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Macksville Mustangs on Tuesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

While Kiowa County won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-19.

Despite the loss, Macksville still got an impressive performance from Kinze Grizzell, who had 14 digs and one assist. Grizzell is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 13 every time she's taken the court this season.

The win got Kiowa County back to even at 2-2. As for Macksville, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Coincidentally, Kiowa County and Macksville will both be playing Ingalls the next time they take the court. The Mavericks will head out to face the Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Mustangs will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
