Basketball Recap: Roosevelt's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Roosevelt lost to Pinkston back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Roosevelt Mustangs rang in the new year with an 80-73 win over the Pinkston Vikings. The victory was nothing new for the Mustangs as they're now sitting on three straight.

Roosevelt pushed their record up to 12-10 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.0 points per game. As for Pinkston, they moved to 10-10 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Roosevelt will welcome Wilmer-Hutchins at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pinkston, they will head out on the road to face off against Kimball at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Kimball's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six matches.
