Volleyball Recap: James F. Byrnes Comes Up Short at Home Against Fort Mill

James F. Byrnes unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Fort Mill Yellow Jackets by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fort Mill to victory, but perhaps none more so than Matty Klemm, who had 14 assists and two aces. Klemm has been hot for a while, having posted 14 or more assists the last nine times he's played.

James F. Byrnes has already played their next contest (against Blythewood), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Fort Mill, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Socastee on the 23rd.
