Soccer Recap: Dillon Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

After low-scoring totals in their previous four contests, Dillon brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. Their defense stepped up to hand the Marlboro County Bulldogs an 8-0 shutout on Friday. The victory was some much needed relief for Dillon as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Dillon's win bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Marlboro County, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dillon will welcome Aynor at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. We've got a battle between Bulldogs coming up. Georgetown will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Marlboro County surely won't give up without a fight.
