            Baseball Recap: Leo Lions vs. Bellmont Braves        
        
		
        
        
            While Leo's  victory against Bellmont wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Lions narrowly escaped with a  win as the  squad sidled past the Braves  5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  victory the Lions have posted  since April 16th.
 Landon Slattery spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned  (and two unearned) runs on six hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in five consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side, Leo saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Kellan Hulburt, who  went 1-for-3 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double.
