Baseball Recap: Dallas County Hornets vs. Southside Panthers
After flying high against Selma last Thursday, Dallas County came back down to earth. The Hornets took a 12-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Southside Panthers on Tuesday. The Hornets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Devin Woods put in work while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 13 batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and nine unearned) runs off three hits.
