Football Game Preview: Pigeon Forge Tigers vs. Johnson County Longhorns

The Pigeon Forge Tigers will venture away from home to face off against the Johnson County Longhorns at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pigeon Forge comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Pigeon Forge came into this matchup off a tough 21-point loss last Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Polk County by a score of 21-18 on Friday. While the Tigers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Wildcats 6-0 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, Johnson County played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against Abingdon, falling 45-22. The Longhorns were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-0.

Johnson County now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Pigeon Forge, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Pigeon Forge lost to Johnson County on the road by a decisive 29-15 margin in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
