Fayette Academy proved they can win big last Monday (they won by 15) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Memphis Home Education Association 10-8.

Leah Culver made a splash no matter where she played. She tossed seven innings while giving up just two earned (and six unearned) runs off seven hits. Culver was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.
