Soccer Game Preview: Donahue Catholic vs. Canterbury

The Donahue Catholic Shamrocks will head out to square off against the Canterbury Cougars at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Donahue Catholic is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Evangelical Christian with a sharp 5-2 victory. The win was nothing new for the Shamrocks as they're now sitting on three straight.

Mikayla Allan and Vivian Luzarraga scored all five of Donahue Catholic's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 60 goals.

Meanwhile, Canterbury got the win against Babcock on Tuesday by a conclusive 9-1. With the Cougars ahead 7-1 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Donahue Catholic pushed their record up to 14-3-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those three matchups. As for Canterbury, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-4-2.
