Caldwell Academy typically has all the answers at home, but on Monday Davidson Day proved too difficult a challenge. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Eagles. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Patriots.

Davidson Day walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). The final score came out to 25-19, 25-21, 25-15.

Davidson Day found their leader in sophomore Caroline McGraw, who had 11 assists and five digs.

Davidson Day was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in six consecutive matchups.

Despite the loss, Caldwell Academy had strong showings from Stella Streng, who had 11 digs, and Lilli Telleysh, who had six assists and three digs. Streng is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Davidson Day's record is now 15-10. As for Caldwell Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-5.
