Football Recap: Caddo Beats Quinton for Their Sixth Straight Win

Caddo put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They took down the Quinton Savages 41-24. Those 41 points were actually the fewest the Bruins have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Caddo's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cale Wigington, who rushed for 213 yards and four TDs while picking up 8.5 yards per carry. That's the most rushing yards Wigington has posted since back in August of 2024. Bayler Black also helped out as he racked up 128 rushing yards.

Caddo didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Bladyn Brown and Jake McKay.

Caddo's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Quinton, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

Looking ahead, Caddo will head out to face off against Savanna at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bruins will be up against the Bulldogs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 57 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Quinton, they will be playing at home against Keota at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Savages are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
