Football Recap: Cholla Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Cholla's offense. They were outmatched by the Combs Coyotes and fell 50-0. The loss put an end to the Chargers' undefeated start to the season.

Kannin Hale was nothing short of spectacular for Combs: he threw for 183 yards and six touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes. That's the most passing yards Hale has posted since back in September of 2024. Branson Moak did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 17 receiving yards.

Having lost for the first time this season, Cholla fell to 2-1. As for Combs, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cholla will challenge Kofa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Combs, they will be playing at home against Paradise Honors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
