Baseball Recap: Potomac Falls Takes a Loss

Potomac Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Freedom Eagles.

Potomac Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Freedom, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Coming up, Potomac Falls will venture away from home to face off against Briar Woods at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Falcons' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Freedom, they will challenge Potomac Senior at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.89 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of.
