Baseball Recap: Mount Morris Comes Up Short

Mount Morris was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 21-5 to the Hornell Red Raiders.

Mount Morris saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ilaijah Rowley, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Another was Ben Canary, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Mount Morris' loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Hornell, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Mount Morris has already played their next game, a 10-0 defeat against Caledonia-Mumford on the 17th. Hornell has also already played their next contest (against Campbell-Savona), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
