Basketball Recap: Rockwood Takes a Loss

Rockwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a hard 44-25 fall against the Oakdale Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 51-19 back in January.

Rockwood's defeat dropped their record down to 7-17. As for Oakdale, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rockwood will host Midway at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Oakdale, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Coalfield at 6:30 p.m. Coalfield will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Oakdale surely won't give up without a fight.
