Soccer Recap: Westmoreland Comes Up Short

Westmoreland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the White House-Heritage Patriots, falling 9-0. If Westmoreland were looking for revenge after losing 6-0 to White House-Heritage when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Westmoreland's loss dropped their record down to 0-7-1. As for White House-Heritage, their victory bumped their record up to 2-7-1.

Looking ahead, Westmoreland will square off against Maplewood at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Westmoreland will be up against Maplewood's rather soft defense (which has allowed four goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for White House-Heritage, they will venture away from home to square off against Gallatin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
