Volleyball Recap: Symmes Valley Comes Up Short

Symmes Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Western Indians. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-16, 22-25, 25-20.

Symmes Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Western, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-7.

Symmes Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against South Point on the 22nd. As for Western, they will square off against Oak Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
