Preview: Snyder vs. Nutley
After two weeks on the road, Snyder is heading back home. On Friday they will take on Nutley at 7:00 PM. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes: the MaxPreps rankings predict a close match.
After constant struggles on the road, Snyder have finally found some success away from home. They took down East Side 18-0. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Snyder as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.
Meanwhile, we expected Nutley to have trouble with the significantly higher-ranked Lincoln last Saturday, and they did. Nutley found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 16-48 punch to the gut against Lincoln. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Nutley.
Snyder's win lifted them to 1-6 while Nutley's loss dropped them down to 1-6. We'll find out if Snyder can add another positive mark to their record or if Nutley can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Snyder's step.
