Basketball Recap: Evart Extends Home Winning Streak to 16

Evart entered their tilt with St. Francis on Thursday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They took down the St. Francis Gladiators 49-30. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 62nd, while the Gladiators are ranked 472nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Evart's victory was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points over those games. As for St. Francis, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.
