Volleyball Recap: Marion Harding Takes a Loss

Marion Harding was the 3-0 winner over Bucyrus when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Presidents took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Redmen on Tuesday.

While Marion Harding had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 16-25, 25-22, 25-21.

Timia Jones paced Marion Harding's offense, picking up ten kills. Jones got some help from Adriana Armbruster and her six assists. Jones was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Marion Harding's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Marion Harding will head out on the road to face off against Highland at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Presidents' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Bucyrus, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Crestview at 6:30 p.m.
