For the second straight game, Hesperia will face off against Serrano. The Scorpions will be playing at home against the Diamondbacks at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Hesperia is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.9 runs per game this season.

Hesperia will bounce into Thursday's contest after beating Serrano, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Scorpions blew past the Diamondbacks 20-9 on Tuesday. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 6, 2023, but that streak is no more.

Hesperia got a massive performance out of Tristen Vanpool, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with four RBI, one run, and one double. Those four RBI gave Vanpool a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Carlos Ramirez, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Hesperia always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .620. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Serrano is on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9. As for Hesperia, their victory bumped their record up to 10-5.
