Softball Recap: McFarland Takes a Loss

McFarland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 18-0 to the Wasco Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-0 last Wednesday.

McFarland's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Wasco, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McFarland will venture away from home to square off against Shafter at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Shafter is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9 runs per game this season. As for Wasco, they will take on Frontier at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Frontier will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Wasco surely won't give up without a fight.
