Katie Lyn Kyle Game Report: vs Randolph School

Katie Lyn Kyle gave up the fewest walks she has since back in April of 2024 on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, she turned in her biggest game of the season, striking out nine batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Wildcats face off against the Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats had to take a loss when they last met the Tigers, but Kyle had little to do with the loss: she struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits (and only one walk).
