Basketball Recap: Seth Williams Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Millington Central

Rossville Christian Academy's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They managed a 53-47 win over the Millington Central Trojans.

Rossville Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Seth Williams, who posted 14 points and eight boards. Williams is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last four games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Kylan Alexander, who scored 11 points and six rebounds.

Millington Central lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Tayshaun Dye, who earned 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Darryl McDonald, who put up eight points.

The victory got Rossville Christian Academy back to even at 1-1. As for Millington Central, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

Rossville Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 68-40 win against Oak Forest Academy on the 24th. As for Millington Central, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 69-48 loss against Harding Academy on the 25th.
