Basketball Game Preview: Camden Patriots vs. St. Paul Central Minutemen

The Camden Patriots will face off against the St. Paul Central Minutemen at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Camden is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped last Tuesday as they easily beat Roosevelt 73-25. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Patriots with their most commanding win of the season.

Meanwhile, St. Paul Central had to endure an eight-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took their matchup on Wednesday with ease, bagging a 59-24 victory over Highland Park.

Camden better keep an eye on Cynara Easley. She was instrumental in St. Paul Central's win, putting up 18 points. That's the most points Easley has posted since back in January of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Elizabeth Adedigba, who posted 11 points.

Camden's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-8. As for St. Paul Central, their victory ended a 12-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-8.

Camden was able to grind out a solid win over St. Paul Central in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, winning 56-44. Does Camden have another victory up their sleeve, or will St. Paul Central turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
