Basketball Recap: Spencer Turner Key Part of Team Effort in Knights Win

Indiana Math & Science Academy North proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by 50) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out Irvington Preparatory Academy 71-68. The victory continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with Irvington Preparatory Academy: they've now won three in a row.

Indiana Math & Science Academy North's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Spencer Turner, who went 9-for-14 on his way to 23 points. That's the most points Turner has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Xzavion Collins, who shot 55% from the field en route to 18 points and five boards.

Indiana Math & Science Academy North's record now sits at 2-0. As for Irvington Preparatory Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
