Recap: La Salette Academy Lions vs. Westville Tigers
The Westville Tigers typically have all the answers at home, but on Saturday the La Salette Academy Lions proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 37-30. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points La Salette Academy has scored all season.
La Salette Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Eamon Martin, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Martin is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. William Fitspatrick was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with five assists and four steals.
La Salette Academy is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. As for Westville, their loss dropped their record down to 17-6.
