Volleyball Recap: Northglenn Comes Up Short

Northglenn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They came up short against the Berthoud Spartans, falling 3-0. The Norsemen were not able to make up for their defeat to the Spartans from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-10, 25-8.

Leading Berthoud to victory were Libby Wilson and Bella Shelton. Wilson hit 83.3% for five kills and seven aces and five digs, while Shelton had nine digs and one assist. Those 83.3% hitting percentage gave Wilson a new career-high.

Northglenn's loss dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Berthoud, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 19-1.

Northglenn has already played their next matchup (against Boulder), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Berthoud, they will face off against Northridge at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
