Basketball Recap: Preston Takes a Loss

Preston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 36-22 to the Morris Eagles. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 53-19 back in January.

Preston's loss dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Morris, their win bumped their record up to 9-6.

Preston wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 37-33 defeat against Stuart on the 1st. As for Morris, they will take on Haskell at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Morris is facing Haskell at the right time seeing as Haskell is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
