Basketball Recap: George Washington Takes a Loss

After flying high against Parkersburg South last Saturday, George Washington came back down to earth. The George Washington Patriots came up short against the Morgantown Mohigans on Thursday, falling 58-35. The match marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

George Washington moved to 18-4 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29 points. As for Morgantown, they pushed their record up to 18-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.
