Amelia Fontenot turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than two earned runs surrendered on Tuesday. She struck out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.3 strikeouts per game.
