Football Recap: Mustang Falls Short of Broken Arrow in the Playoffs

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Mustang couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They received a blow on Friday as they fell 29-14 to the Broken Arrow Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 21-14 back in September.

When it comes to explaining why Mustang lost, don't look at Jaden O'Neal. Despite the final result, he threw for 226 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Mustang moved to 8-4 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Broken Arrow, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Mustang does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Broken Arrow, they have already played their next game, a 49-17 loss against Bixby on the 28th.
