There's no place like home for Parkway West, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They came out on top against the Parkway South Patriots by a score of 3-1 on Monday. The win was some much needed relief for the Longhorns as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

Parkway West had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 26-24, 25-17, 25-21.

Katie Byergo paced Parkway West's offense, picking up 16 kills. Byergo got some help from Elle Lanfersieck and her 38 assists. Lindie Keller controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Parkway West's victory bumped their record up to 14-8-1. As for Parkway South, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-9-4.

Parkway West wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Lafayette on the 8th. As for Parkway South, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Parkway North on the 8th.
